What I started to include in later entries is a sort of "DM Notes" debriefing after taling about the events of the game itself, and some "Campaign Checkpoints" every once in a while (I'll write another one very soon) to expose my thoughts as a game master.

So far people have liked them very much, I must say, and I'm thinking of writing more "backstage posts" like this. Your input is thus very valuable, since it tackles that very topic! I'm also comparing it with a. my own campaign I run, and b. with the campaign diary I am writing (in German).

Some things I noted: I should write more about XP gained and encounter levels, because I enjoy looking at your numbers. I should also post more pictures. The food looks fabulous! :)

I was curious to hear how your players liked it. I'll post some more as a comment on "Session 2 - Back to Ptolus". This made me realize, in any case, that I'm not posting any player reactions either. I want to change that.

Something I have which you don't seem to have is "points to remember for next time" - rules, in-character issues, clarifications, stuff like that. You never feel the urge to share some of that with your readers or players as a DM?Alex Schroederhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17104864340940538702noreply@blogger.com
